The 20 Swiss francs 1935 is an investment gold coin exempt from VAT. The Swiss Helvetia 20 franc 1935 coin is investment gold according to the criteria set by the european union directive 2006/112/EC and a coin daily quoted in France by Cpor at a price close to the spot price of gold. It is 900 ‰ and contains 5.80 grams of pure gold, it is a relatively common coin (175,000 gold vreneli minted in 1935) without numismatic interest, his minimum value follows (in VG / VF) the normal quotation of the 20 francs Swiss.
These coins are way too common to be graded. They are standard bullion gold coins and can be purchased at very low premiums. I got them on sale with a premium of about 5.5%. I find these coins far more interesting than a 1/10 Maple or Eagle. They are among the most popular foreign gold coins because of their low premium and size. They are abundant and available at most places where gold coins are sold. I can’t imagine premiums increasing, but this did happen with Mexican bullion, which used to be the cheapest available.
